tournament taking place at the Wembley Conference Center
in London.

The ultimate battle for supremacy between
man and machine kicked off today and it was HYDRA that reinforced
the dominance of artificial intelligence over its human
opponent.
The world’s most powerful
chess computer made its successful London debut by defeating
the Grandmaster Michael Adams in the first day of the six
game tournament.

The game which lasted three hours and odd minutes, with
Adams resigning after a mere 33 moves.
The six match tournament will continue with
a game every day until the final match on Monday 27th June
and there is a rest day on Friday 24th June.
